Who we are

OMEGA is proudly owned by McKechnie Aluminium Solutions Limited, who have over 60 years experience in extruding aluminium.

Established by Larry Hoyle in 1978, OMEGA® rapidly gained a reputation for high-quality joinery in the industry.

Since acquiring OMEGA® in 2012, McKechnie has invested in the people and products to make OMEGA® suites the most innovative, modern and effective products, recognised across New Zealand and internationally.

What sets OMEGA® apart are our thermally broken suites, a homegrown innovation engineered in New Zealand using state-of-the-art techniques. Similar to the insulation in our homes, our thermal break creates a barrier, preventing heat loss through windows and doors.

As part of the McKechnie Aluminium Solutions family, OMEGA® prioritises excellence. Our products not only boast aesthetic appeal but are also engineered to endure New Zealand's challenging weather conditions.

We're the only aluminium extrusion business in New Zealand with a facility that recycles aluminium on-site, helping to protect the environment by reducing our carbon footprint. OMEGA® is also the first New Zealand supplier of aluminium windows and doors to be certified by Toitū Envirocare for reducing carbon emissions.
